We know that the Weather Outside is frightful, but with one day of school left in 2013 we would ask that parents continue to be consciencous during drop-off and pick-up times.

Please do not block alleys or crosswalks to drop-off children.
A reminder from the school that the staff parking lot is also not to be used for drop-offs or pick-ups.

Parent Council is working with the City of Calgary to create a drop-off zone in front of the school and we are just waiting to here back from the planning department.

We appreciate everyone's patience as we try to ameliorate the parking situation, in the meantime lets all work together to make all our children safe.

Happy Holidays!

McKenzie Towne Needs a Middle School!

If we want our children to go to middle school in their own community and not bussed down the Deerfoot every day we need to act now.  CBE has changed their ranking system and we are moving down the list.  We need to write our MLA's, our school trustee and any other provincially elected representative you can think of.  We have been told that the amount of emails received really make a difference!

Email, Write a letter, Tweet!  Whatever method you choose, just do it!

A huge thank you to Ms. Cotton and all the staff and parents involved in the Grade 1&2 Christmas concert last night.  It was wonderful!  What a bunch of talented students we have!
